March 28, the massive announcement by the SG media mostly through twitter had came out that Jay Park would come to Singapore to have his showcase there to promote the New Breed album under Universal Music Singapore. JayEffect Indonesia started our engine and kept ‘pushing’ UMI to announce what they should had announced.
April 3, Universal Music Indonesia started to give us hints about the possibility of Jay coming to Indonesia as well. Our timeline became merrier :D It was always a heartwarming feeling knowing there were a huge of interest from the fans about Jay coming to Indonesia again.
April 4, finally UMI announced through their twitter account:
Universal Music Indonesia had been quite responsive since the beginning. We told them we hoped there would be a fansigning session too, and they replied they would try their best.
I can say that these were the busiest period of me and my Indonesia Jwalkerz friends who run JayEffect Indonesia. We had a lot in mind, like a lot! Thinking about how to organize the fans, what projects to do for the upcoming showcase, also trying to get in touch with UMI people because we realized we need their acknowledgement so that our projects could be a success.
There were only 4 people running JayEffect Indonesia. Three of us were too packed with final year exams, one of the three even lives in another city. And there was me, who was also actually quite preoccupied by my real-job. Haha. But I kept telling myself, if not me, if not us, who else. Jwalkerz know best how does it feels to be given the opportunity to meet our precious CEO, we didn’t want to disappoint anybody, including ourselves.
We communicated through emails, whatsapp, twitter DMs, and phone calls to discuss what projects we would do. Because of the very short time we had, we finally came out with the customized birthday cake, customized birthday gifts, some traditional snacks, and not to forget to produce JayEffect Indonesia stickers to label the gifts, the cheering banners and glowsticks for the showcase. Thank to the talented @icchan21 who made all the designs and glad to have her as a new member of the JayEffect Indonesia staffers.
We were also collecting all Jwalkerz’ gifts for Jay because they mostly live outside Jakarta so they couldn’t make it to the showcase.
All the gifts were from JayEffect Indonesia and JayParkNetwork. I would like to thank my sisters, JPN’s staffers who are always there to support us in any kind of form <3
April 6, Jwalkerz hunted all those showcase invitation that were spread to various appointed music stores in Jakarta and roundabouts by UMI. It was a total excitement retweeting all the Jwalkerz’ ‘live-report’ tweets informing us the album were sold out here and there. Jwalkerz TEAMWORK is really NO JOKE. Haha. Too bad the invitation were so limited. There were still so many Indonesia Jwalkerz who live outside Jakarta couldn’t come to see Jay.
April 9, the man himself had spoken, but as usual, Jwalkerz’ response: “You are late Jay…we knew it already~” haha
April 12, another #PrayForIndonesia ;( but thank God there were no significant damage and victims. Thank you for all your prayers! Especially my Jwalkerz sisters outside Indonesia <3
April 23, finally UMI announced the fansigning session was confirmed and gave the details.
April 25, Happy 25th Birthday CEO Park~~!!
Meanwhile, we also got a chance to work with some medias who held quiz for Jwalkerz to win the showcase invitation. Medias were really helpful, nice and supporting Jay and JEI much :) We felt blessed.
May 5, in the morning we were on air at TraxFM’s K’s Corner to talk about all Jay Park, JayEffect Indonesia, the showcase, and the projects.
Still on the same day in the afternoon, we held a mini casual gathering for Jwalkerz especially for those who would come to the showcase. Here we announced them our projects, made sure the fanchants, also sold some Jay Park merchandise we personally had to cover all the projects expense. It always a fun time to spend with Jwalkerz.
May 6, we welcomed 1llionaire at the Soekarno-Hatta Int’l Airport.

May 7, I and Dea (the founder of JEI) had a meeting with Universal Music Indonesia people. Basically was to discuss more about our birthday project. They told us they gave us the time before the press con started. Means the audiences would be the press. Then I made an argument that we need people to sing birthday song, so that was why several Jwalkerz were allowed to come in :)
Oh right, I was a bit stressed out about the birthday cake because UMI had said “OK” for us to hold a birthday project in only a few days before the D-day! While the cake shops only take order the customized one in at least one week before. I freaked out lol but thank God, thank DemiJayEffect, my friend whose sister was about to make a rainbow cake offered me the cake. So we dealt with the customized birthday rainbow cake. I put all I could think about into the ideas of the cake. It turned out simple, but cute and really nice. I hope Jay and the crews ate it T_T
What made me stressing out more was, the fact that 1llionaire might not allowed to come on stage as told by 1llionaire and Jay himself. The reason was because the showcase would be broadcasted nationally on TV station, and because 1llionaire were here with traveling-visa, not working-visa.
I was afraid this could make so many parties sad or disappointed. When I knew that it wasn’t Jay management directly who got in contact with UMI, I assumed that Jay and his management did not know yet about this matter. So I collected my guts (lol) to message David Yoo Manager and the Q. They replied and said thank you. Well, at least we did what we could and should do. To let them know in advance. It was a bit disappointed of course that we couldn’t make it to see AOM1llionaire together in one stage. But when I thought about how crucial that could be if they still went on stage, I then knew that this was the right decision to tell them in advance. Dok2 and Q still came to the showcase anyway, so sall good :) everyone had a good time..
May 8, chit chat with UMI people while waiting for Jay to land, it was a hot night! The bodyguards were about 15 in total. While there were only a few Jwalkerz there at the airport at midnight. We also told them that they didn’t need to worry because we didn’t have any more energy left with us. But duty was a duty. Those bodyguards fully surrounded Jay. I was too tired. I gave up. Haha I knew this would happen. Jay also laughed and said to the Prepix guys about the amount of the bodyguards that was too many for the Jwalkerz there. Jay was already sitting in the car while we were walking and talking and taking pic with Wassup, Soo, Joony.
May 9, as predicted, 1llionaire’s featuring had cancelled due to visa problem. Even though I already knew it, reading these tweets, I felt like crying~ no, I really cried.
May 9, was the press conference day, the fansigning day, and the day for JayEffect Indo. It was opened by the host calling out Jay’s name. Not so long after, it was our turn. We brought the birthday cake to the stage while other Jwalkerz along with the media serenaded to a birthday song. It was so hard to keep the candles. Once I was in front of him, he delightfully and without any hesitation blew the candles. He blew them quite hard that I thought I couldn’t manage my face expression at that time lol
Jay is nice we already know that. So why? We actually only had a very short time on the stage. But he kept us there by opening the gifts right away after asking me in a very soft voice “Should I open it now?”. And being cooperated with the UMI, I said “It’s up to you Jay. If they allow?” And yes, they surely allowed it. The sound of camera’s clicking were everywhere right after Jay started and showed one by one of the gifts.

He kept saying “thank you guys..thank you so much.” while looking at me and Dea and to the Jwalkerz at the corner of the venue. Every time he talked about Jwalkerz, he would look at us who stood at the left side of his sight. He even said “aku cinta kamu” at the very first time he addressed himself to Jwalkerz. I know that our relationship is mutual, Jay and Jwalkerz :)
I used our precious time to briefly let him know that the gifts and cake were from @JayEffect_Indo and @jayparknetwork.
He gave us a slicked stare and the I-Got-You gesture to Jwalkerz when he showed the media our 1st t-shirt “Please Turn Me On”. I let him know that the 2nd t-shirt was his head-sketch made by a Jwalkerz :) @rosaklim then he posed himself with the tee. He said that was very cool of us (Jwalkerz) He said thank you again and shook our hands.

Done with the birthday project, I stood in the left side of the stage, listening to the press conference while life-tweeting for JEI. Until I realized it was David Manager and Eunduck eonnie who stood right next to me. At first I was like I didn’t care. But then I realized that David was quite intensely staring at me. I was like, “What did I do wrong?” Because I swear he really had that Manager stare which made you like even your bones were being scanned. (lol I know LOL) He knew I realized it, so to prevent the awkwardness I greeted him and bowed a little and smiled. He did the same things. But not so long after, when I was talking to the UMI people I’d been dealing with, there again I felt someone was looking at me. Around 1metre in front of me, there was David (again). Oh gosh, did I do something wrong??
When UMI representative asked Jay how important is Indonesia Market to him, he answered that all he cares is the fans. He said, it is not Market, it’s Fans :) He said he doesn’t care how much fans will come, be it only a few, as long as there is Jwalkerz, he wants to go! dawwwww Jay~ ♥ how could we not love you hehe. After the press conference, Jay gave a surprise performance by singing KYN and GF. Heard that it was Jay’s management who asked UMI to let the rest of the fans to come in and watched Jay performed together with the media. Hyped up!
Fansigning session was held on the 2nd floor. When we made a line, I asked UMI people to let me put JEI and JPN names on the side note in order to ask Jay to write both names on my Korean version New Breed album. They allowed me. But I couldn’t make it because I got caught in action by THE Kyungnam manager-nim :P
While I was lining, I saw David just standing on the right side looking at the line while drinking a glass of beer haha while Kyungnam was the one who helped Jay with the signing. Not so long after, when it was about my turn to get signed, I didn’t realize since when David already stood on the left side, which was closed to where I was standing. Our eyes met (can’t believe I used this cheesy line eeekkk) so then finally something came out from him saying, “hanguk saramieyo?” Because I was already too focus on my turn to get signed, I was like, “sorry??” haha then he went, “ah it’s okay, I wrong… you look like Korean.” or something like that. So I finally figured out the reason of all the stares hahaha phew~

May 10, the Show Time!!
Highlights:
- Jay Park made his Jwalkerz proud by wearing Damn! I Love Indonesia t-shirt given by fans. Not only his fans, but also public who didn’t know who he was, now know who he is :) thank you Jay~
- His pronunciation of Bahasa was really good. “Apa kabar/ Terima kasih/ Aku cinta kamu/ Sate/ Warteg xD”
- When the host asked him what was the most unforgettable moment during touring, he said, ” right now is one of them, meeting Jwalkerz.
- When two Jwalkerz sang I Got Your Back and Girlfriend Jay really enjoyed it from the side of the stage, he really listened to them, danced with them singing. I could feel how proud he was.
- His last words at the showcase: “thank you for coming thank you for supporting always always aku cinta kamu”
- When the stage lights went off, Jwalkerz were still shouting they wanted more. Jay stopped walking and seemed like he wanted to do an encore, but because the venue would be set for another event, he couldn’t do that. So he did talk to us about his mixtape a bit. Then real good-bye

IDK if this is “k-pop” related, But I think illionaire, are just riding on Jay’s coat tail. If it wasn’t for Jay, they wouldn’t have been that popular. Especially how cocky Dok2 is, he’s not even that great of a rapper.

Sunday, 6 May 2012 1llionaire (Dok2 and The Quiett) landed in Jakarta
We welcomed them. Unbelievably, they were so nice. No “idol” tag at all. When we first called their names, they waved and smiled to us. They looked shy but also kept it cool. We talked quite a long time because they were waiting for their car. It was on the weekend that the airport usually too packed with so many people departing and arriving (so the parking lots also got too packed that they had to wait).
When my friend asked The Q to write P.S. for her and he didn’t get it, Dokki said something like: “That, like Jay usually does..” LOL
Dok2 said they were here for some other business (exactly how he answered me lol), but then they knew Jay had a showcase, so they joining in. Later we knew they were here for vacation (in Bali). He also asked if his Dok1 had already arrived in Jakarta. Cute~! (Jay had not came in yet at that time)
Dok2 was more talkative..like he could talk back to us, asked things.. While Q..needed to be asked first haha.
We then took pic one by one with them, also all together.
Saturday, 12 May 2012 1llionaire went back to Seoul (transit in Singapore)
We were 30 minutes late from the time appointed so we were like wondering what if they had already checked in. When were about to feel hopeless (an hour from the time we should have met with them), they appeared out of nowhere in front of us. They walked super chillingly (swagly? lmao can’t believe I used this word). When first I saw them I was like, were that really them? I was to my friend “THEY ARE THEM!” lol and we were both like frozen, they saw us but because we did nothing, they kept walking. A second after I stepped forward and greeted them names. So they stopped. I asked them if they were in a rush to go in or not, they said, “No it’s okay”. So we were standing so close again like me sending off good friends at the airport.
I firstly gave a bag full of snacks to the Q telling him they were from my Thai sister, Pair. He said thank you so much. Then I asked them if it was alright for them to give a sign to each of the CDs I brought. Q said “sure..”, dokki asked him “what is it?” (this was when I forgot for a sec there was him as well, sorry dokki ^^;;;;)
They looked surprised when I took out 5 CDs from my tiny sling bag and because all were different albums. haha their friend who went with them looked more surprised even made a voice “oh wow~~” lol
Both were so cute and nice that they really paid attention to what I was saying (my instructions for the sudden ‘signing session’ haha)
Dokki made a mistake that he signed all his CDs with my name, so he asked me “What to do? Should I correct it?” I said, “Just add Pair’s name also, since it was supposed to be hers..hehe” He did what I was asking..
We asked them how was their vacation. They said it was awesome that they really enjoyed Indonesia, especially Bali. The Q even kept saying “I love Indonesia.. I love Indonesia..” I told them I hope they will be back here again, either for vacation or for having a concert or so..” They said definitely will come back.
We did not want to hold them too long so we took pic together again. They were so laid back. Super chill. They said thank you for coming, and see you again. Have a safe flight guys, that was our last words :)
We met them again actually, because there were quite a long time before their departure, but we decided to just leave them.
